Compass Center, Information and Referral Services Specialist
The Information and Referral Services Specialist oversees daily operations of the Information and Referral Program at Compass Center for Women and Families. The specialist will connect clients to resources available at Compass Center as well as provide referrals to services like food pantry, healthcare, attorney and mental health services that Compass does not provide. You will work directly with clients to assess and meet their needs. The specialist will also supervise Information & Referral Volunteers who work with the the program, and also work with the Director of Client Services & Volunteer Management to ensure that referrals are accurately tracked in and resource information is updated and shared with volunteers.

Spanish speaker preferred
JSC corps members serve at their internships for 32 hours/week. In addition, they participate in JSC’s Servant Leadership curriculum on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings. Corps members live together in intentional community with their peers and share community meals, weekly meetings, and household chores.
The work schedule for Compass Center is as follows:
Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm 30 min lunch
Some evening hours required for volunteer training and evening self-sufficiency workshops
Lifting up to 5 lbs.; ability to sit for long stretches of time and use a computer.
