Center for Responsible Lending, Mobilization and Outreach Intern
As the mobilization and outreach intern you will assist with vital coalition and mobilization work for their faith outreach and state policy teams. You will manage relationships and partnerships and lay the groundwork for legislative fights at the state level. The contribution of this position will allow CRL to continue to promote wealth-building for low-income communities and communities of color. Specific activities may include:
Developing community engagement strategies
Monitoring, compiling, and tracking the positions of allies and opponents through research and community engagement
Organizing and supporting events such as webinars, conference calls and policy briefings
Oral and written communications
JSC corps members serve at their internships for 32 hours/week. In addition, they participate in JSC’s Servant Leadership curriculum on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings. Corps members live together in intentional community with their peers and share community meals, weekly meetings, and household chores.
With CRL, the corps member will work Monday - Thursday, 9AM - 5PM.
