  Job Description

The Regional Partnership Director is responsible for developing and executing a regional partnership strategy that accelerates College Track’s priorities for college student success and regional sustainability. Under the direction of the Site Director, this position is responsible for cultivating and managing high leverage partnerships with postsecondary institutions, scholarship organizations and local corporate and community organizations.  The Partnership Director is accountable for ensuring that opportunities from our partners are effectively used by sites and students.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Partnership Management: manage existing regional partnerships and execute terms of signed agreements, lead the cultivation and signing of new partnerships, and maintain pipeline of all partnership opportunities to include:

o   College partnerships that support CT’s affordability strategy and college student outcomes;

o   Scholarship partnerships that support CT’s affordability strategy and development goals;

o   Local partnerships, such as corporations or community-based organizations that support CT’s program and development goals.

  • Jobs and Beyond: establish regional relationships with organizations/companies offering internship/job opportunities for students and liaison with sites to ensure students are connecting with these opportunities.
  • Alumni Relations: collaborate with National Alumni Director to implement alumni initiatives in the region.

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience securing high level partnerships and working with key leadership personnel in organizations
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills, with a history of growing relationships from transactional to mutually beneficial
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, including the ability to be flexible and approach new challenges with optimism
  • Results-driven; commitment to utilizing data to inform action
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with people across all levels and organizations - internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively
  • Strong interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate others to action
  • Highly skilled at change management; comfortable with ambiguity but effective at driving toward clarity and solution
  • Strong project management skills and experience working across departments and teams to implement new opportunities and champion a partnership strategy
  • Proactive, self-starter with exceptional ability to manage self and schedule.
