TCG seeks a Marketing Associate/Coordinator to support all departments in the execution of marketing strategies and plans. Reporting to the Deputy Director/COO, the Marketing Associate/Coordinator, this role is required to work with people across the organization to coordinate marketing initiatives. What You Will be Doing
•Digital/Email Marketing: Execute campaigns across multiple channels (email, social, search, display); coordinating calendars and proofing materials. • Website Maintenance: Update content and coordinate edits with Website Developer. • Marketing Support Materials: Working with the Art Department, help create digital and print materials (brochures, email graphics, social graphics, banner ads) for digital campaigns and tradeshows; and TCG swag. Also, help ensure consistent look and feel for TCG materials, events and communications. • Tradeshow Marketing: Coordinate TCG’s presence at conferences and tradeshows, including exhibit coordination, shipping logistics, travel arrangements, and special events. • Reporting: Monitor campaign effectiveness, while identifying and optimizing opportunities. Analyze and react to social media engagement data. • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need for this Role
• An interest in or experience working in theatre and/or a service-oriented field. • 2+ years of related experience and/or a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or nonprofit. • Knowledge of digital and print marketing, including email, social, and display. • Experience using an email platform, like Constant Contact or MailChimp. • Familiarity using a CMS platform. • Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and comfortable working with new databases and other technologies. • Experience working in publishing and book distribution a plus.
