  Job Description


Penn-Mar Human Services, an Organization dedicated to 'Transforming Life to Living!' for adults with developmental disabilities, is currently seeking a Full-Time Quality Coordinator for our MD Quality Program.

The Quality Coordinator (QC) is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall coordination of individuals in their caseload while assisting the individuals in transforming their lives. QC works with various departments in our agency and other professionals to assure quality development of the IP and completion of the ITM Process. They ensure that the rights of individuals are protected and advocate for the individuals as appropriate while focused on compliance with regulations for applicable licensing and certification agencies. Holistically case manages for each individual in their caseload to uphold a Person-Centered approach.


  • Coordinate the application process of benefits including Medicare, medical assistance, social security, Supplemental Security Income, (SSI), and food stamps.
  • Maintains consumer files (including scanning of all paperwork pertaining to the IP) in a manner that is consistent with current regulations and meets all requirements
  • Ensure quality development of the IP and actively participate in the IP meeting process, including assessments, packet completion, minutes, goal plans, behavior modification programs and any recommendations approved by the team.
  • Reports on all incidents, behavior plans, admissions, discharges, rights restrictions, etc. as required at the monthly quality assurance meetings.
  • Communicating and collaborating with family and community resources.
  • Review and process all monthly individual paperwork submitted to them.  
  • Maintain documentation of daily/weekly schedules for individuals.
  • Monitor finances and ensure communication occurs with Accounting when any new service is started or stopped or service provisions have changed.  


  • 4 yrs. Ed. and /or Exp. Req.
  • BA/BS degree & 2 yrs. exp. Preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel Req.
  • Acceptable criminal background.
  • Valid Driver's License with 2 years' experience, and less than 3 moving violations (NO Major Violations, D.U.I.'s or Suspensions) in the previous 36 months.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment Drug Screen/ Physical/ Mantoux Test (PPD, TB).
