Building Health & Recovery

We provide medical treatment, teach parenting skills, carry out research and manage health records. We cook, we write, we keep CODA's buildings safe and clean. We run group counseling sessions, manage payroll, hire, train and support our 300 colleagues working in several locations in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington Counties. We are counselors, nurses, maintenance workers, accountants, leaders, medical assistants, case managers, administrative staff and doctors.

Our Program Supervisor makes a difference by:

  • Managing outpatient program operations, working directly with the Program Director to ensure program outcomes are achieved, regulatory compliance standards are met, and budgets are maintained.
  • Providing day-to-day and clinical supervision for program staff, ensuring competency, quality of services, employee engagement, and the implementation of agency processes and protocols.
  • Establishing and maintain positive and productive partnerships with local providers, community partners, contract stakeholders, and others within the community.
  • Maintaining a small case load providing direct services to clients, modeling desired clinical practices and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation.
  • The right individual for this position is a strong leader, has a passion for helping others, and is able to deal with difficult situations in positive and constructive ways.

Those with the following qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply:

  • A Masters Degree in a human services discipline with certification or licensure (CADC II, CADC III, MAC, LCSW, or LPC.)
  • A minimum of three (3) years paid full-time experience in the social services field with a minimum of two (2) years of direct alcohol and other drug counseling experience and two (2) years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting.
  • A minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clinical concepts and program outcomes.
  • Ability to operate a computer, utilize basic MS Office programs, and effectively navigate and maintain client records in an electronic medical records system.

The bonus opportunity comprises of a $500 sign-on bonus (appears on first check)
and another $500 after 6 months of employment for a total of $1,000.
