Best Friends Animal Society is looking for an innovative behavior consultant to work at the Sanctuary, who has the instinct to teach and can thrive in a fast paced collaborative working environment. You'll meet all kinds of dogs who might not have survived at traditional shelters, and help them overcome their behavior challenges, whether they're painfully shy, having trouble getting along with others, or just inexperienced at being house pets. The training that happens here sets an example for shelters all across the country! This really is a special healing haven unlike anywhere else on earth, and you can help change the lives of these animals – and animals all around the country – by doing a stellar job of training dogs through working in partnership with the caregivers.

Best Friends Animal Society has been building effective lifesaving programs for more than 30 years. When Best Friends began, 17 million animals died every year in shelters. Today, thanks to caring people like you, the number of animals killed per year is two million. Still, nearly 5,500 dogs and cats are killed in America’s shelters every day, simply because they don’t have safe places to call home. By increasing the number of adoptions and implementing spay/neuter programs to reduce the number of animals who enter shelters, we know we can end the killing. Work with us to help Save Them All®.
